JPMorgan and Bank of America urged to withdraw: A Republican lawmaker has called for JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America to pull out of underwriting the IPO of Chinese battery manufacturer CATL, citing its designation as a military company by the U.S. Department of Defense and alleged ties to forced labor camps.
CATL's IPO plans: The Hong Kong IPO for CATL is expected in the second quarter of this year, aiming to raise at least $5 billion, which would be the largest IPO in Hong Kong in four years.
