HSBC's Major Overhaul: HSBC Holdings is restructuring its commercial and investment banking operations under new CEO Georges Elhedery, aiming to cut costs and improve returns by combining divisions and enhancing cross-selling opportunities for its 1.2 million business customers.
Management Changes: The bank has appointed Pam Kaur as its first female CFO and announced several senior management changes, while continuing to streamline operations and reduce roles in Western markets to focus on Asia and scalable markets.
