The U.S. Rig Count is down 49 rigs from last year's count of 592 with oil rigs down 75, gas rigs up 24 and miscellaneous rigs up 2. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 to 11, down 3 year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is down 24 from last week to 153 with oil rigs down 19 to 95, gas rigs down 5 to 58 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0. The Canada Rig Count is down 10 from last year's count of 163 with oil rigs down 13, gas rigs up 4 and miscellaneous rigs down 1.
