New YouTube Feature: YouTube has introduced an option for parents to set a zero-minute time limit for their kids on Shorts, effectively removing access to this feature on their devices.
Previous Time Limit: The previous minimum time limit for Shorts was 15 minutes, which has now been updated to provide more control for parents.
Expanded Control: This feature was expanded in January to give parents more authority over how long their children spend scrolling through Shorts.
Current Rollout: According to YouTube spokesperson Makenzie Spiller, the zero-minute timer option is currently being rolled out to all parents and will soon be available to all users.
