Customers Bank, the subsidiary of Customers Bancorp, announced a multiyear strategic collaboration with OpenAI to deploy artificial intelligence across its commercial banking operations, marking a defining moment in the Bank's transformation. This collaboration will position Customers Bank to become one of the first AI-enabled regional banks in the United States.

"On January 1, 2026, I had the honor of succeeding Jay Sidhu as Chief Executive Officer of Customers Bancorp. This transition was the culmination of a deliberate, multiyear transition that our Board and leadership team planned carefully to ensure continuity for our clients, our team members and our shareholders," said Customers Bancorp CEO Sam Sidhu.
