Boeing was awarded a $200M indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for research and development for multidisciplinary, aerodynamics, and structures technologies research. This contract provides basic, applied, advanced, and demonstration/validation research to develop and demonstrate, integrate, and transition new aerospace vehicle technologies. Work will be performed at Saint Louis, Missouri, unless otherwise indicated in each task order and is expected to be completed by May 28, 2037. This contract was a competitive acquisition and eleven offers were received. FY26 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $14,305 is being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Research Laboratory is the contracting activity.

Boeing was awarded a maximum $528.32M modification to a definitized delivery order issued against a three-year basic ordering agreement for the performance-based support contract. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 3204, as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. The performance completion date is September 16, 2027. Using military services are Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2026 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support.

According to Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, China's commitment to purchase 200 Boeing jets will be solidified later this year and is only an "initial tranche" of a potentially larger deal, Julie Zhu and Anne Marie Roantree of Reuters reports. Some investors have expressed disappointment in the deals size, but Ortberg said, "It's a good start. And I'm very confident that keeping that market open, that's an initial tranche of aircraft, and there will be more to come."

Boeing was awarded an $854.67M modification to a firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This modification adds scope for the production and delivery of four P-8A Lot 13 aircraft to Foreign Military Sale customers, as well as provides additional non-recurring engineering for P-8A diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, software integration, and hardware updates for the Navy and FMS customers. Work is expected to be completed by September 2030. This contract was not competed. Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
