It provides capital, based on portfolio size, against the underlying value of litigation and legal assets. It operates through two segments: Principal Finance and Asset Management and Other Services. The Principal Finance segment funds capital to legal finance assets from its balance sheet, primarily as capital provision assets, and in limited scope through interests in private funds managed the Company. These capital provision assets and private fund interests generate its capital provision income. The Asset Management and Other Services segment manages legal finance assets on behalf of third-party investors, and it provides other services to the legal industry.
