Tesla (TSLA) has only 42 vehicles operating as robotaxis in the state of Texas nearly a year after service launched in the state, which pales in comparison to the 577 robotaxis Alphabet's (GOOGL) Waymo operates there, Bloomberg's Kara Carlson reports, citing the Texas DMV.
