Textron Aviation Defense has been awarded a five-year U.S. government contract valued at over $150,000,000 to provide Sustaining Engineering and Program Management services for the fleet of U.S. Air Force, Navy and Army T-6A, T-6B and T-6D aircraft. First awarded in 2021, the action extends systems engineering and program management services for an additional five years, covering sustaining and systems engineering, program management and support for maintenance, repairs, modifications and integrity programs. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $510,000,000 ceiling, from $240,000,000 ceiling. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas.

Collins Aerospace, an RTX (RTX) business, has been awarded multiple contracts from Bell Textron, a Textron (TXT) company, to deliver five critical systems for the U.S. Army's MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft. Work for these systems will be completed in Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and West Virginia.

Textron has been awarded a $150.18M modification to a previously awarded contract for sustaining engineering and program management services for the T-6. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $510M ceiling, from $240M ceiling. Work will be performed at Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be completed by April 12, 2031. FY26 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $11.83M are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity.

Textron Aviation announced a suite of new enhancements for its Cessna piston lineup, including the Cessna Skyhawk, Cessna Skylane, Cessna Turbo Skylane and Cessna Turbo Stationair HD. These updates feature the introduction of the Garmin G1000 NXi System Release 7 avionics upgrade and the Lycoming dual electronic ignition system. Previously announced for the Cessna Skyhawk, dual EIS is now standard on all new Cessna piston aircraft. Aircraft equipped with these enhancements are expected to enter service beginning in late 2026 through early 2027.
