The Arkansas Economic Development Commission announced that Conagra Brands will expand its existing manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, Ark. through a multi-year investment of approximately $220M. The project is expected to create more than 100 new jobs over the next five years, strengthening the region's manufacturing workforce and economy.Conagra plans to begin construction later this year at its Fayetteville location to significantly increase its chicken production capacity.

Target (TGT) will require every cereal it sells to be made without certified synthetic colors by the end of May, Kelly Tyko of Axios reports. The shift puts Target among the first national retailers to remove the additives across an entire grocery category, Tyko writes. Major food companies including General Mills (GIS) and Kraft Heinz (KHC) have pledged to remove artificial colors from U.S. products by 2027, while the Trump administration has warned it may pursue regulations if companies fail to follow through. Other publicly traded food companies include PepsiCo (PEP), Campbell's (CPB), Conagra (CAG), and Coca-Cola (KO).

Conagra Brands appointed John Mulligan and Pietro Satriano to its board of directors, effective immediately. With these additions, the Conagra Brands board will increase to 12 members. John Mulligan is the former COO of Target Corporation, where he served as CFO and in other executive roles in finance, digital, and human resources. Mulligan also served as a director of McDonald's corporation for ten years ending in 2025, serving as chair of its public policy & strategy committee and chair of its audit & finance committee. Pietro Satriano is the former chairman of the board and CEO of US Foods Holding, a foodservice company, where he started as chief merchandising officer. He has served in various leadership positions at Loblaw Companies, a leading food retailer, and LoyaltyOne Canada.
