Petrobras Production Update: Petrobras reported a slight decrease in oil, gas, and gas liquids production to 2.77 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in Q1, with oil production specifically falling by 1% year-on-year to 2.21 million bpd. The company highlighted the strategic importance of the new Almirante Tamandare FPSO in boosting production.
Export Trends: Total sales of oil and derivatives dropped by 1.9%, with exports declining by 10.4%. However, exports to Asia (excluding China) increased significantly, and a new agreement with Bharat Petroleum will facilitate the export of up to 6 million barrels of oil annually starting in 2025.
