Newmont's Sale of Coffee Project: Newmont Corporation has agreed to sell its Coffee Project in Yukon, Canada to Fuerte Metals Corporation for up to $150 million, with the transaction expected to close in Q4 2025, pending certain conditions.
Transaction Details: The deal includes $10 million in cash at closing, $40 million in Fuerte shares, and a 3.0% Net Smelter Return royalty, which Fuerte can repurchase for up to $100 million. Newmont will own approximately 27% of Fuerte's shares post-transaction.
