Mitsubishi's Agreement with ExxonMobil: Mitsubishi has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire a stake in and offtake low-carbon ammonia from ExxonMobil's hydrogen facility in Texas, which aims to produce significant amounts of hydrogen and ammonia with reduced CO2 emissions.
Collaborative Efforts for Low-Carbon Ammonia: Mitsubishi plans to partner with Idemitsu Kosan for joint equity and ammonia offtake, while also considering converting part of its LPG terminal in Japan into an ammonia terminal to support various industrial applications.
