Stifel raised the firm's price target on Garrett Motion to $20 from $17 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following a "strong" Q3 with revenue and EBITDA ahead of consensus and guidance raised. Continued share gains in both passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as industrial, including data centers, give the firm confidence in the outlook for growth, the analyst tells investors.
Deutsche Bank initiated coverage of Garrett Motion with a Hold rating and $14 price target. The firm thinks Garrett is well positioned to be a relative winner given its leading market share in turbochargers and "disciplined" spending.
Stifel analyst Nathan Jones lowered the firm's price target on Garrett Motion to $17 from $17.50 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. After significant uncertainty in the global macro economy post April 2, the biggest adjustment the firm has seen for its industrial companies is an increase in pricing, which has been almost exclusively passed through to customers with little resistance, says the analyst, who thinks on average that tariffs have so far been slightly accretive to EPS among the firm's diversified industrials coverage.
BWS Financial raised the firm's price target on Garrett Motion to $18 from $14 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company remains a direct beneficiary of strength within the auto market, as consumers flocked to dealerships in Q3 to purchase battery electric and plug-in hybrids, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm added that while the headlines have been dominated by strength in North America, Europe has also shown signs of growth as it inches toward 2023 levels, and Garrett had developed several products for the plug-in hybrid market and should experience a lift in sales.
