Paul Singer's activist hedge fund Elliott Investment Management is pressing London Stock Exchange Group (LDNXF) to launch a review of its portfolio, which spans a data business, exchange operations and a 51% stake in U.S.-listed Tradeweb Markets (TW), reported Bloomberg's Swetha Gopinath, citing people familiar with the matter. The fund is also pushing LSEG to pursue GBP 5B in share buybacks over the next 12 months, according to the report.
