Berkshire Hathaway's Investment in Japan: Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has increased its stakes in Japan's five largest trading houses, raising its holdings in Mitsubishi and Mitsui among others after negotiations to lift a 10% investment ceiling.
Stake Increases: The company's stake in Mitsubishi Corporation rose from 8.31% to 9.67%, while Mitsui's increased from 8.09% to 9.82%, with similar increases of about 1% in Itochu, Marubeni, and Sumitomo.
