Its segments include APUS, RU and HCN. The APUS segment provides online postsecondary education directed primarily at the needs of the military, military-affiliated, public service and service-minded communities through American Military University (AMU), and American Public University (APU). APUS provides online postsecondary education to approximately 88,400 adult learners. The RU segment provides nursing and health sciences-focused postsecondary education to over 14,600 students at its 20 campuses in six states and online. The HCN segment offers pre-licensure nursing programs that are designed to prepare individuals for productive careers through both a PN degree and an ADN degree, and two Direct Entry ADN degrees.
