Envirotech Vehicles' stock surged 49.77% to $0.57 in premarket trading after the company signed an Amended and Restated Letter of Intent to acquire AZIO AI for $480 million.
The acquisition will allow AZIO AI shareholders to convert their equity into Envirotech equity, with AZIO AI CEO Chris Young set to lead Envirotech post-merger. This strategic move towards AI infrastructure is expected to enhance Envirotech's growth potential and market position, despite its 99% decline over the past five years.
This merger could provide Envirotech with new growth momentum and a stronger foothold in the AI sector, potentially attracting more investors and revitalizing its market presence.
