The company said, "In 2026 we expect: Total income excluding notable items in the range of GBP 17.2B-17.6B. Operating expenses, excluding litigation and conduct costs, around GBP 8.2B. Loan impairment rate below 25 basis points. Return on Tangible Equity greater than 17%. Capital generation pre-distributions around 200 basis points."

The company said, "Capital: We now target a CET1 ratio of around 13.0%. We continue to expect to pay ordinary dividends of around 50% of attributable profit and will consider buybacks as appropriate. We expect Basel 3.1 to increase RWAs by around GBP 10 billion on 1 January 2027."
