Parsons announced its role as the lead designer for the design-build team delivering the Virginia Department of Transportation's Interstate 64 Hampton Roads Express Lanes Norfolk Segment 1B, a project that fills a critical bi-directional gap in the corridor's current Express Lanes toll lane system. The effort is being led by Lane Construction Corporation, who selected Parsons.

Parsons announced a single award classified contract for continued work in support of the U.S. Government, valued at over $47M. This award represents a critical task that the corporation has been performing for more than six years, with an extension of two additional one-year option periods.
