Wells Fargo analyst Colin Langan lowered the firm's price target on Lear to $126 from $131 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The firm notes Q1 is largely trending as expected and therefore Wells anticipates most suppliers to be in line. With that said, almost all drivers are trending worse for full year. Wells is more cautious given likely weaker China LVP and further Iran conflict downside risk. FX tailwinds have eased with a stronger USD.

RBC Capital initiated coverage of Lear with a Sector Perform rating and $135 price target. Vertical integration in the powertrain-agnostic seating industry has laid the foundation for Lear's strong market share and industry-leading margins, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Lear is a high-quality name but its growth potential is largely baked into its valuation, the firm adds however.
