Kaltura announced the expansion of its AI-powered platform capabilities to Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Canada. European financial institutions, Australian enterprises, and Canadian government organizations can now deploy Agentic Avatars, AI Genie, and the full Kaltura platform with complete data sovereignty."

Kaltura announced the limited beta of a conversational experience that combines PathFactory's ChatFactory with Kaltura's Agentic Avatar SDK. "The unified solution enables organizations to deliver end-to-end engagement across their websites and applications, from content discovery and education at the top of the sales funnel to lead generation and conversion at the bottom of the sales funnel," the company said.

Kaltura announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PathFactory. Under the terms of the acquisition agreement and subject to customary closing conditions, Kaltura expects to acquire PathFactory for approximately $22M in cash, and for the transaction to close in the second quarter of 2026.

Kaltura announced the general availability of Kaltura Agentic Avatars, a new class of real-time conversational AI video agents for organizations. Kaltura's Agentic Avatars combine live, human-like interaction with organizational intelligence and business intent, enabling rich, interactive, personalized customer, employee, learner, and audience journeys. Kaltura is also launching a Conversational Agents Software Development Kit which enables developers and coding agents to add real-time, avatar-based agentic AI conversations directly into their company's applications and digital experiences, integrated with their workflows, data, systems, and agentic engines.
