JetBlue told CNBC that it plans to cut its flight attendant base at Newark Liberty International Airport and tech operations bases there and at LaGuardia Airport in New York this fall, reports Leslie Josephs. The airline seeks to reduce costs and increase service in Florida, and noted that no staff will lose their jobs, CNBC adds. "JetBlue is making targeted schedule adjustments, ending seasonal service between Newark and Los Angeles and Las Vegas, to support growth in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport," the airline said in a statement.
