Hesai Technology (HSAI) announced a strategic cooperation with Grab (GRAB), under which Grab will serve as the exclusive distributor of Hesai's lidar products in Southeast Asia. Through this partnership, Grab will lead the sales, customer support, and marketing of Hesai's sensors across Southeast Asia. Through this strategic partnership, Hesai will leverage Grab's extensive resources and established distribution networks to ramp up the availability of reliable, high-quality lidar sensors so that customers across the region will be able to access lidar more quickly and easily for use cases across a range of industries and applications, including for robotic solutions and autonomous systems. Grab's position as Hesai's exclusive distributor in Southeast Asia also ensures a stable, reliable supply of lidar technology critical to its autonomous mobility and mapping work.

Hesai Technology announced that it will double its annual production capacity in 2026 - from 2 million units to over 4 million units - driven by accelerating demand for ADAS and robotics lidar. "Our customers are scaling faster than ever, and we are scaling with them. By expanding our annual capacity to over 4 million units and adding our new Thailand facility, we're building a global manufacturing footprint that can reliably support mass production. Hesai Technology announced it has entered into a partnership with MOVIN to supply advanced lidar solutions for the company's 3D motion-capture systems. "Motion capture is no longer just a tool for animation or VFX," said Byeoli Choi, CEO of MOVIN. "With lidar as the foundation, we see motion data becoming core infrastructure for physical AI - from live performance to humanoid robotics. Partnering with Hesai accelerates that future."

Hesai Technology announced a strategic partnership with Keeta Drone, Meituan's autonomous urban delivery sub-brand, accelerating the commercialization of the low-altitude economy. Under the agreement, Hesai will supply its second-generation solid-state lidar FTX for the next-generation drones of Keeta Drone. Keeta Drone has built an integrated air-ground delivery network through its self-developed drone systems, expanding use cases from food delivery to pharmaceuticals and emergency supplies. To date, Keeta Drone has 65 delivery drone routes across multiple cities, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Dubai, completing more than 740,000 deliveries total.
