General Mills announced Jonathan Ness has been named Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective March 16, 2026. He will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Harmening, join the company's Senior Leadership Team and have accountability for the company's global supply chain operations.

Target (TGT) will require every cereal it sells to be made without certified synthetic colors by the end of May, Kelly Tyko of Axios reports. The shift puts Target among the first national retailers to remove the additives across an entire grocery category, Tyko writes. Major food companies including General Mills (GIS) and Kraft Heinz (KHC) have pledged to remove artificial colors from U.S. products by 2027, while the Trump administration has warned it may pursue regulations if companies fail to follow through. Other publicly traded food companies include PepsiCo (PEP), Campbell's (CPB), Conagra (CAG), and Coca-Cola (KO).

Hormel Foods (HRL) announced the appointment of Donald Monk as chief technology officer, effective March 23. In this newly created role, Monk will serve as the company's senior-most technology leader, responsible for envisioning, aligning and delivering the enterprise technology, digital and data strategy that supports long-term growth.
