Cboe Global Markets announced its new Cboe Bitcoin Continuous Futures and Cboe Ether Continuous Futures are planned to begin trading on Cboe Futures Exchange, beginning December 15, subject to regulatory review. Cboe's Continuous Futures are designed to offer traders long-term exposure to bitcoin and ether. The contracts will have a 10-year expiration at listing and a daily cash adjustment, effectively creating perpetual-style exposure while eliminating the need to periodically roll positions. Continuous Futures are designed to provide the same benefits many investors utilize traditional futures for, such as capital efficiency, volatility management, tactical trading, and the ability to enter short positions.

UBS (UBS) announced the world's first successful completion of an in-production, end-to-end tokenized fund workflow leveraging the Chainlink (LINK-USD) Digital Transfer Agent technical standard. The live transaction involved the on-chain subscription and redemption of the UBS USD Money Market Investment Fund Token, or uMINT, the firm's proprietary token built on the Ethereum (ETH-USD) blockchain. In the transaction, DigiFT functioned as the on-chain fund distributor. Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, said: "I'm very excited to announce this industry milestone with UBS and DigiFT, where Chainlink is powering an in-production tokenized fund transaction across chains. This enables secure, compliant, and scalable end-to-end workflows for tokenized assets, setting a new benchmark for institutional finance on-chain. As one of the most significant financial institutions worldwide, UBS is now leveraging Chainlink to expand their digital asset capabilities while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards. This major milestone demonstrates how traditional finance can transition into on-chain environments with the reliability and efficiency the traditional industry requires."

President Trump has pardoned Changpeng Zhao, the convicted founder of the crypto exchange Binance, according to a Wall Street Journal report by Rebecca Ballhaus, Josh Dawsey, Patricia Kowsmann and Angus Berwick. The President signed the pardon on Wednesday after indicating to advisers that he was sympathetic to arguments of political persecution related to Zhao. The pardon follows months of efforts by Zhao to boost the Trump family's own crypto company, the report adds. Binance is the issuer of the BNB token (BNB-USD).
