Germany's Defense Package: Germany plans to acquire 424 new wheeled armored vehicles in a defense package worth nearly €7 billion ($8.1 billion), with approval from the Bundestag’s budget committee expected soon.
Vehicle Supply Details: General Dynamics will provide 274 reconnaissance vehicles for about €3.5 billion, while 150 "Schakal" armored infantry fighting vehicles will be procured through OCCAR, with deliveries scheduled from 2027 to 2031.
