CVB Financial (CVBF) announced that it has received the necessary regulatory approvals for its merger with Heritage Commerce (HTBK). The closing of the respective mergers of HTBK into CVBF and of HBC into CBB, which is presently expected to occur on April 17, 2026, remains subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions set forth in CVBF's and HTBK's merger agreement.

Reports Q4 revenue $53.6M, consensus $50.8M. Raymond James analyst David Feaster downgraded Heritage Commerce (HTBK) to Market Perform from Outperform without a price target after the company announced an agreement to be acquired by CVB Financial (CVBF). The firm likes the deal and sees it as a logical fit for CVB and thinks the deal "checks all the boxes," the analyst tells investors in a research note.
