Consumer Portfolio Services announced that on December 12, it began a new forward flow program with Valley Strong Credit Union, a leading full-service credit union located in California's Central Valley. Valley Strong's commitment under the forward flow program will enable CPS to expand its annual origination volumes by as much as $900M. The program will focus on borrowers with prime credit, providing CPS the opportunity to serve borrowers in all tiers of the credit spectrum, through its AI enabled auto finance platform. Additionally, the program enhances CPS' ability to be a full spectrum lender and will further establish CPS as the preferred lender for its dealership partners. Finally, CPS will leverage its proprietary, AI enhanced loan and collections systems on behalf of Valley Strong to originate and service the prime automobile loans.

Consumer Portfolio Services announced the deployment of a next-generation AI-powered servicing and collections platform developed in partnership with Salient, a leading provider of AI voice agent solutions tailored for the automotive industry. As Consumer Portfolio Services continues to scale its loan portfolio and optimize servicing operations, Salient's AI platform is expected to play a key role in accelerating collections and improving repayment consistency, which should improve credit performance over time. The platform leverages conversational AI voice agents to automate borrower outreach across key servicing functions, allowing CPS to redeploy human agents to focus on more complex cases. Salient's platform has demonstrated a more than 60% reduction in handle times and improved customer response rates in previous implementations, positioning CPS to benefit from similar efficiency gains as it integrates the technology in 2025.

Consumer Portfolio Services announced that it has partnered with SentiLink. The partnership enables CPS to improve its fraud prevention efforts while also saving the Company approximately $1 million per quarter so far. SentiLink's AI-driven technology analyzes key identity and fraud indicators to generate actionable reports for CPS, helping the Company lend to legitimate, verified borrowers. This improvement in fraud detection directly supports CPS's goal of significantly reducing lifetime portfolio losses, ultimately reinforcing financial performance.

This advanced AI-driven solution enhances the dealer experience by automatically verifying stipulations, improving capture rates, and reducing contracts-in-transit.
