Caleres announced the appointment of Dan Karpel as SVP and CFO. He will serve as the Company's principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. Karpel rejoined Caleres as chief accounting officer in October 2025 and was appointed to the role of interim CFO in January.

Caleres plans to report first quarter earnings on June 4, prior to the market opening. The company currently anticipates that it will report total sales of $667M and earnings per diluted share to be in the range of 39c to 41c and adjusted earnings per diluted share in the range of 35c to 37c. Revenue consensus $652.92M.

Dr. Scholl's Shoes, a brand in the Caleres portfolio, and Wrangler have teamed up to create a limited-edition collaboration. "Launching on March 24, the capsule features five classic Dr. Scholl's Shoes silhouettes, including their iconic Original Sandal and the viral Time-Off Max Sneaker, in a variety of fresh new Wrangler-inspired colorways and prints and one denim leather trim jacket with signature 'W' stitching," the company said.
