BlackSky Technology was awarded a seven-figure, multi-year contract renewal to accelerate the automation of future non-Earth imagery services. This follow-on agreement expands the program's scope toward the exploration of next-generation imaging payload and specialized mission-planning software solutions that support the real-time speed, scale and reliability of space domain awareness operations.

Following last week's filing of its S-1 prospectus by SpaceX (SPCX), shares of companies involved in space exploration, launch systems, satellites, lunar missions, and broader infrastructure continue to rally, with more broad-based strength in pre-market trading this morning. Iridium Communications (IRDM) is up 7.6%, Rocket Lab (RKLB) is up 4.8%, AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) is up 6.2%, Intuitive Machines (LUNR) is up 9.3%, Planet Labs (PL) is up 8.5%, Redwire (RDW) is up 12.6%, Spire Global (SPIR) is up 8.1%, and BlackSky (BKSY) is up 3.4%.

BlackSky files automatic mixed securities shelf

BlackSky Technology was awarded a seven-figure subscription contract with a new government customer for new and advanced Gen-2 mission applications. This initial one-year period-of-performance contract expands access to Gen-2 capacity and increases mission value for the customer.
