Magnite (MGNI) announced a partnership with Viasat Aviation (VSAT), the in-flight connectivity platform behind Viasat Ads. This collaboration brings programmatic advertising to in-flight Wi-Fi and entertainment, giving brands and ad buyers scaled access to audiences in the sky. Viasat powers in-flight connectivity and digital entertainment services across passenger devices and onboard platforms. Its technology is used by over 60 airlines on over 4,000 aircraft worldwide.

Viasat (VSAT) announced a strategic partnership with TiVo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xperi (XPER), to integrate the TiVo operating system as the connected TV platform across Viasat-delivered services worldwide. "The collaboration enables Viasat to deliver streaming services across its global satellite customer base through TiVo's independent, content-centric CTV operating system. The announcement, made at the StreamTV Show in Denver, marks a major step toward bringing streaming television experiences to satellite-served markets around the world," the company stated.

Markets are looking to rebound this morning after two sessions of selling pressure, with futures higher across the major indexes. Viasat announced it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command to build, launch and deliver the first of a proliferated fleet of small, maneuverable geosynchronous Earth orbit satellites under the Protected Tactical SATCOM-Global program. "The new Swarm 1 Delivery Order contract builds on Viasat's completion of the Delivery Order 1 phase awarded in 2025, where the company successfully matured a system design for a resilient, low size, weight and power GEO satellite and associated ground architecture to dynamically support key hot spot service areas. The proposed satellite design and operational concept illustrates how Viasat is applying low cost, high performance dual-use technology to provide resilient connectivity for an increasingly contested tactical communications environment. The Viasat SMS team is part of the company's Defense and Advanced Technologies segment," the company said. Viasat's production and delivery of the dual-band satellite system will support meeting initial operating capability no earlier than 2029, the company stated.
