UniCredit Considering Sale of Commerzbank Stake, According to Reuters
UniCredit (UNCRY) CEO Andrea Orcel said the company may consider selling its stake in Commerzbank (CRZBY) to a bank outside the European Union if a good offer is received, Reuters reports, citing a German newspaper. UniCredit has built a 26% stake in German lender and has pressed for a tie-up, which Commerzbank opposes.
