Steakholder Foods announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Twine Solutions has sold the first of its next-generation TwineX1 dyeing systems to the Textile Research Institute of the German state of Thuringia, Vogtland, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of digitally driven, sustainable thread manufacturing.

Steakholder Foods announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Twine Solutions, is strengthening its long-standing collaboration with Henderson Sewing Machine by expanding its distribution portfolio with the introduction of entry-level TwineX1 systems. The TwineX1 is an improvement on previous models, focused on solutions for fashion brands' sample rooms, special textile applications and short-run productions with higher productivity, color range and functionality. Together, Twine and Henderson are transforming the American textile supply chain by enabling sustainable, fast, and flexible production onshore.

Steakholder Foods announced that it has acquired Twine Solutions, a transformative force in the digital dyeing of thread and yarn, adding Twine's technological abilities to its existing digital printing abilities in the foodtech industry. According to the acquisition agreement, Twine's erstwhile shareholders received a minority stake of approximately 20% in Steakholder Foods in return for all outstanding shares of Twine on a fully-diluted basis. The acquisition of Twine by Steakholder is a first step in creating a global digital technology powerhouse with the capability to revolutionize multiple traditional industries including Steakholder's existing food industry, as well as in creating a new paradigm in the fashion and textile through advanced manufacturing and supply chain solutions provided by Twine.
