SiriusPoint announced that International Medical Group, IMG, SiriusPoint's wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire Assist America. Assist America primarily sells its services to insurance companies as part of their corporate benefit plan products. Scott Egan, Chief Executive Officer at SiriusPoint, said: "The acquisition of Assist America represents a strategic step forward in strengthening IMG's global assistance services offering. Assist America is a highly respected business with deep expertise in emergency travel assistance, and this deal creates significant future growth opportunities.

SiriusPoint announced the appointment of Maria Tarhanidis as chief investment officer, effective December 2. Based in New York, Tarhanidis will join the senior leadership team and will report to Jim McKinney, CFO. In her role, she will be responsible for overseeing strategic asset allocation, investment performance, and portfolio risk management across SiriusPoint and its direct subsidiaries. She will lead the development and execution of investment strategies that align with SiriusPoint's corporate objectives and enhance overall long-term profitability.

Reports Q3 revenue $647.7M, consensus $560.77M. Scott Egan, Chief Executive Officer, said: "The third quarter marked another successful quarter of delivery for SiriusPoint. Strong underwriting performance, targeted growth, the announcement of two MGA disposals, and a positive outlook upgrade by S&P means there is a lot to be proud of."
