Roma Green Finance Plans to Acquire 5% Stake in NXTGrid
Roma Green Finance announced that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire a 5% equity interest in NXTGrid Compute Power for total consideration of $15M. The investment is Roma's second position in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure, following the company's previously announced $15M investment in the BlueFlare group. NXTGrid expects to own and energize sites in Bathurst, Birtle, and Medicine Hat, representing approximately 65 megawatts of first-phase capacity targeted to be powered before the end of 2026. NXTGrid intends for this initial phase to anchor a broader portfolio of distributed, owned powered-land sites across Canada. The proposed investment is non-binding and remains subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence and the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements; there can be no assurance that the transaction will be completed on the terms described, or at all. Roma intends to provide further detail regarding the transaction and its broader AI/HPC infrastructure strategy in subsequent disclosures.
