Quantum Cyber announced the execution of a definitive Intellectual Property License Agreement with Project LightShift. The agreement grants Quantum Cyber an exclusive worldwide license to Project LightShift's patent-protected quantum photonic array technology for the development, manufacture, and commercialization of quantum antenna systems integrated into or designed for unmanned aerial vehicles and drone platforms used in defense and national security applications. "The agreement we executed today is the transaction that makes the quantum layer of our platform real," said David Lazar, CEO. "We have a signed, definitive license agreement, an exclusive position backed by a verified patent chain, a vesting structure that protects our equity, and contractual protections that give us the ability to retain these rights permanently if Project LightShift fails to perform. Every layer of our System-of-Systems platform has pointed toward this capability. The quantum antenna is now in the portfolio. We are moving forward."

Quantum Cyber files $250M mixed securities shelf

Quantum Cyber announced an expansion of its relationship with BP United, the developer of the drone systems underpinning its platform. Under a contract amendment, Quantum Cyber will assume direct responsibility for manufacturing licensed drone products, superseding the previous commercial supply arrangement. BP United will continue to provide technical assistance, and the companies also signed a two-year voting agreement in which BP United committed to vote its shares in favor of board-recommended proposals. "The amendment to our BP United agreement is a direct expression of our commitment to vertical integration," said David Lazar, CEO. "We are not building a licensing company. We are building a manufacturing platform, and taking direct control of production of the drone technology at the core of our portfolio is the logical next step in that build. BP United's technical support, combined with our own manufacturing infrastructure, gives us the supply chain discipline and operational control that a defense platform of this scale requires."
