Paramount to increase film production, develop cable networks, Reuters says
Following its merger with Skydance Media, Paramount Global revealed plans to retain and develop its entertainment brands Nickelodeon, MTV, and BET while also increasing its feature film production, Dawn Chmielewski of Reuters reports. "We're thinking about ... the cable networks, not as declining linear assets that we need to spin off or deal with somehow," said President Jeff Shell, according to Reuters. "We're thinking of those brands that we have to redefine."
