Citizens JMP lowered the firm's price target on Ocular Therapeutix to $19 from $22 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Ocular amended its pivotal wet age-related macular degeneration program, which will allow a more differentiated label but pushes back the first Phase 3 data to 1Q26 from 4Q25, the analyst tells investors in a research note, adding that Ocular is also reducing the size of the pivotal SOL-R trial which will accelerate enrollment and could mean a faster time to market for Axpaxli. The weakness in the shares on Monday is "understandable at first blush" as the first pivotal data for Axpaxli is now pushed back slightly, but Citizens believes the reaction is "losing the forest through the trees," as the slight delay greatly benefits Ocular and Axpaxli and would buy shares on any weakness.
