NXN Overview

Nuveen New York Select Tax-Free Income Portfolio (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide stable dividends exempt from regular federal income tax, as well as New York State and New York City personal income tax, consistent with preservation of capital. The Fund will invest at least 80%of its Managed Assets in investment grade securities that, at the time of investment, are rated within the four highest grades (Baa or BBB or better) by at least one NRSRO or are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the Fund’s sub-adviser. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its Managed Assets in municipal securities that at the time of investment are rated below investment grade or are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the Fund’s investment adviser and/or the Fund’s sub-adviser. The Fund's investment advisor is Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC.
