Trump wants to do a deal for Ukraine's rare earth elements, AP reports
President Trump began this week by suggesting that continued U.S. military support to Ukraine in its struggles with Russia may hinge on the Ukraine giving the U.S. access to the country's rare earth mineral stock, Zeke Miller wrote for AP. "We're looking to do a deal with Ukraine where they're going to secure what we're giving them with their rare earth and other things," said the President, speaking to reporters, after noting the level of assistance the U.S. had given already to the country, noted the AP story... The Fly notes that companies involved in the development and mining of rare earth minerals include: Nova Minerals (NVA), Ioneer (IONR), Lynas Rare Earths (LYSCF), MP Materials (MP), Energy Fuels (UUUU), NioCorp (NB) and VanEck Vectors Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF (REMX).
