Kontoor Brands announced it has signed a definitive agreement to sell the Lee business to Authentic Brands Group for up to $1B, including an initial transaction value of $750M and a $250M earnout opportunity in future years based on the performance of Lee under Authentic's ownership. The transaction is subject to required regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The transaction was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors of Kontoor. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Lee, a Kontoor Brands brand, announces Kacey Lee, its first celebrity collaboration designed with Kacey Musgraves exclusively for Walmart (WMT). "Named after Musgraves' first and middle names, Kacey Lee brings together Lee's heritage denim and Musgraves' classic style for an expansive collection across multiple product categories. In addition to men's and women's denim bottoms and tops, the 100-plus piece capsule spans sleepwear, swimwear, accessories and pet items," the company said.

FGX International, an EssilorLuxottica (ESLOY) company, has announced a new licensing partnership with Kontoor Brands' (KTB) Wrangler. The new partnership includes designed styles to match existing collections across various channels. Select styles are already available in stores across North America and Latin America, with distribution set to expand over the course of 2026.
