KBR announced a strategic investment in UK-based Applied Computing, marking a significant step forward in KBR's AI driven growth strategy. As part of the investment, KBR has also secured a board position in the company. The investment strengthens KBR's commitment to delivering advanced, explainable artificial intelligence solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability across the energy, chemical, and industrial sectors. Together, the companies will accelerate the development of new digital products and expand AI capabilities across KBR's global technology portfolio. KBR and Applied Computing have also entered into a multi-year joint development agreement to co-create exclusive AI products for the energy sector. The companies will integrate Applied Computing's proprietary Orbital foundational model with KBR's licensed process technologies, domain expertise in capital projects and supply chains to deploy and develop new technologies across the full energy lifecycle. This forms a comprehensive, three-pronged approach covering asset operations, capital projects, and the de-risking of next generation technologies.

KBR announced it has been awarded a contract by Zallaf Exploration, Production and Refining of Oil and Gas Company to provide project management and technical services for the South Refinery Project in Ubari, Southwest Libya. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide contract management, project management and supporting technical services throughout the EPC phases of the project. This work is expected to be executed over a 50-month period. The South Refinery Project aligns with KBR's long-standing commitment to advancing vital oil and gas infrastructure in Libya. KBR has a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the country.

KBR announced it has been awarded a landmark seven-year General Maintenance Services contract, with an optional three-year extension, from Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company for its strategic petrochemical expansion complex in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, KBR will deliver a comprehensive suite of preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance services designed to achieve exceptional performance and reliability across the entire petrochemical complex. Building on more than a decade of trusted collaboration with SATORP, KBR will leverage its proven expertise and practices to support industry-leading commissioning and start-up, with the intent of achieving peak availability and reliability from day one and delivering top-quartile plant performance while optimizing costs.
