Roth Capital notes InterDigital announced a new license agreement with LG and provided initial 2026 guidance above Street consensus. The upside is related to a recent win with LG and a smartphone renewal with a major Chinese vendor. This also places Q1 to be ahead of the $156M consensus, Roth adds. With the recent selloff and continued streaming momentum, the firm maintains a Buy rating on the shares.

Sees FY26 revenue $675M-$775M, consensus $649.58M. "Our business momentum continues into 2026. Today we added an important new license agreement with LG Electronics, and we recently announced a smartphone renewal with a major Chinese vendor," said InterDigital CEO and President, Liren Chen. "We expect another strong year and will provide our first quarter 2026 outlook, along with additional color on our full year outlook, when we report earnings on February 5th."

InterDigital (IDCC) announced that the company has signed a new patent license agreement with LG Electronics. The agreement licenses LG's digital TVs and computer display monitors under InterDigital's joint licensing program with Sony (SONY) and includes licenses to technologies including ATSC 3.0, Wi-Fi and video codecs.
