Gilat Satellite Networks announced that Gilat DataPath has received approximately $6 million in new orders to continue delivering field and technical services in support of the U.S. Army. Services will be delivered over the next 6 months. This order extends Gilat's support for another period as part of its multi-year engagement with the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Networks under the GTACS II contract vehicle. "This next phase of orders reflects the U.S. Army's continued confidence in Gilat to support operational readiness with proven, dependable capabilities," said Nicole Robinson, President of Gilat DataPath. Gilat Satellite Networks announced that it received a multi-million dollar order from a leading In-Flight Connectivity, IFC, Integrator for Gilat Wavestream's AeroStream Ka-band Wideband amplifiers to support the deployment of connectivity solutions on commercial aviation aircraft. Deliveries are expected over the next 24 months. "We are pleased to see continued demand and adoption of the AeroStream 60W Ka band Wideband BUC," said Edgar Khachatryan, President, Gilat Wavestream.
