Six Executives at Southern California Edison Forfeit $2M in Bonuses
Six senior executives at Southern California Edison and its parent will forfeit an estimated $2M in bonuses following the deadly Eaton fire near Los Angeles, which killed 19 people and destroyed more than 9,400 buildings, The New York Times' Ivan Penn reports. This marks only the second time executive pay has been reduced over wildfire-related issues, following the 2018 Woolsey fire, Penn writes.
