Douglas Elliman Realty announced the appointment of Chris Reyes as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Reyes joins Douglas Elliman from Brown Harris Stevens where he served as CTO. In his new role, Reyes will oversee Douglas Elliman's technology team, infrastructure, product launch, and software development across all regions nationally.

FINRA is probing trading activity ahead of a failed takeover bid for Douglas Elliman (DOUG), and has asked the luxury real estate brokerage who knew about the offer before it became public in late May, according to letters seen by Reuters and three people familiar with the matter, Anirban Sen reports. The inquiry is in the early stages, according to the report. Anywhere Real Estate (HOUS) approached Douglas Elliman in May with a bid that would value it at more than $4 a share.

The company's international expansion will begin with immediate activation of core services for existing Douglas Elliman clients, followed by strategic recruitment of teams and individual agents who will operate under the Elliman banner. Select physical office locations in key markets are also planned.
