Cemtrex announced that its Advanced Industrial Services subsidiary has been awarded a $1.2 million industrial installation contract and is providing a business update following its recently reported fiscal first quarter 2026 results. Saagar Govil, Chairman and CEO of Cemtrex, commented: "Our Industrial segment continues to see consistent demand for installation and infrastructure projects. At the same time, we have taken steps to reduce costs within the Security segment, implemented pricing adjustments, and expanded the platform through the acquisitions of Invocon and Richland. Our focus remains on improving operating performance as these actions take effect and as the recently acquired businesses begin contributing to results."

Cash and cash equivalents increased 312% to $20.5M, compared to the prior year of $5M. Cemtrex chairman and CEO, Saagar Govil, commented on the results: "Fiscal Q1 2026 was a quarter of decisive action. We strengthened our balance sheet, delivered continued revenue growth driven by our Industrial segment. Operating loss for the quarter was $2.8 million, compared to $2.3 million in the prior year period, primarily reflecting lower gross margin in Security and certain one-time expenses, including a write-off of obsolete demo equipment and elevated legal and transaction costs related to acquisition activity and other matters. Excluding these non-recurring items, our focus remains on improving segment contribution and lowering the run-rate cost structure."

Cemtrex's Advanced Industrial Services has been awarded a mechanical contract valued at approximately $3.9M, inclusive of approved alternates, as part of the Berks County Steam Plant Decentralization Project in Pennsylvania. The award represents a meaningful multi-year infrastructure project for AIS and adds to the company's growing portfolio of municipal and institutional mechanical work. Substantial completion for the Jail and Youth Detention facilities is scheduled for October 15, with full project completion, including the Steam Plant, expected by December 31.

Cemtrex announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the purchase of approximately 1.47M shares and / or pre funded warrants with a single institutional investor, at a purchase price of $2.722 per share, with gross proceeds to the company expected to be $4M to the company. The transaction is expected to close on or about January 9, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The company expects to use the net proceeds from the offering, for general corporate purposes, including working capital and potential acquisitions.
