BIO-key announced a strategic partnership with Visualforma. This partnership supports the launch of a new line of business focused on Portuguese municipal councils. Visualforma will lead the nationwide rollout of BIO-key's IAM and biometric authentication technologies across Portugal's public-sector ecosystem, currently comprising more than 250 government organizations. The contract defines a structured deployment framework that has already been executed to secure access to digital services, reinforce cybersecurity controls, and ensure regulatory compliance across municipal administrations, educational institutions, and healthcare entities. In parallel, the agreement includes the deployment of BIO-key's IAM and biometric technologies within a tourist city, where the solution is already operational and supporting citizen- and visitor-facing digital services.

BIO-key announced a strategic partnership with Savis Group. The collaboration unites BIO-key's advanced IAM and biometric authentication platforms with Savis Group's nationwide experience in digital trust and enterprise solutions. Together, the companies will deliver identity management capabilities to enterprises, government agencies, and institutions across Vietnam. As an authorized distributor, Savis Group will integrate and deliver BIO-key's IAM portfolio through its ecosystem of solution partners and enterprise customers, providing localized pre-sales, deployment, and technical support.

Reports Q3 revenue $1.55M vs $2.14M last year. BIO-key CEO, Mike DePasquale commented, "We had particular strength in the year-ago quarter which made for tough Q3 comparison this year. We reported total revenues of $1.55M in Q3'25, compared to $2.14M a year ago. Q3'24 benefitted from two large orders one from a long-time banking customer, which was more of a catch-up for the repaid expansion of their deployment, and one from a long-time defense industry customer. In aggregate, revenue from these two customers was approximately $665,000 higher in Q3 last year, resulting in the year-over year revenue variance. Another $134,000 order was received from the defense industry customer in October."
