The U.S. Rig Count is up 9 rigs from last year's count of 554 with oil rigs down 5, gas rigs up 11 and miscellaneous rigs up 3. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 to 9, down 5 year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is up 6 from last week to 186 with oil rigs up 8 to 129, gas rigs down 2 to 56 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1. The Canada Rig Count is up 47 from last year's count of 139 with oil rigs up 36, gas rigs up 10 and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
